Architectural Photo Friday: The Seri Setia

05th Aug 2011 Architectural Photos by Crystal Kwon

In Putrajaya (Malaysia) lies one of the world’s most special pedestrian bridge which spans 135 metres long. The Seri Setia bridge was inspired by the shape of a butterfly, with two large arches that mirror one another.

The pedestrian bridge is one of eight bridges in Putrajaya; all of which are influenced by nature and beautifully combine concrete and steel.

This bridge was designed in mind for pedestrian and cyclist crossing the Putrajaya Lake to admire the scenery that Putrajaya offers.
