Kryton is celebrating two remarkable successes this week. The Best Company in BC Awards named us best in the field of Manufacturing, Construction and Distribution, recognizing our hard work and achievements. We were also ranked second place in the Top 10 Overall employers category. This is the third consecutive year we’ve been honored with this distinction.

Each year, BCBusiness Magazine and MindField Group host an awards gala to applaud the achievements of BC-based companies that bring the best employment environments the world has to offer. Although we operate in the global market, Kryton is a Canadian company at heart. We are thrilled to be honored for our innovative employee engagement strategies in our home town.

What makes the awards that much more valuable to us is that winners are selected based on employee’s opinions. These two awards reflect the tremendous amount of hard work and commitment our 70 staff around the world do on a daily basis. They are the ones that do the heavy lifting and it’s because of them that Kryton is a great place to work.

While we’re primarily known for our work in waterproofing concrete, little is known about our unique corporate culture. We offer our international employees profit-sharing options, extended benefits and top-notch HR policies. We also have an in-house gym at our corporate headquarters and a CFO – Chief Fun Officer – who plans group activities to facilitate team building. We embrace our multi-cultural work environment and try to go above and beyond every day to make our employees feel respected, appreciated and included.

So, while we’ve just celebrated a giant pat on the back for our corporate workplace, we want to give an equally large kudos to our employees for being ‘by our side’ through the years.
