We put a video together from our fantastic day working with Habitat for Humanity Greater Vancouver!

See our previous blog post on how our Build Day went here!

“When you participate in a Build Day with Habitat for Humanity, you’re not just building houses – you are providing an opportunity for hardworking people within a community.” says Kryton’s President and CEO Kari Yuers. “When housing prices in the Vancouver area are as high as they are, too many families are forced to live paycheck to paycheck. What Habitat is doing, is giving them an opportunity to get ahead, and we at Kryton are very proud to be a part of it.”

Kryton will continue the partnership with Habitat for Humanity Greater Vancouver, by providing a permanent waterproofing system to the concrete foundation of the next build site. The B.C. government is transferring a property, located at 8180 Ash St. in Richmond, to Habitat for Humanity Society of Greater Vancouver.  Here, six more families will have the opportunity to become first-time home owners under the Habitat for Humanity program. In addition to the home owners, each home will incorporate a rental suite offering mortgage assistance to the homeowners and adding to the number of affordable rental units in Richmond.
