The 2015 edition of World of Concrete took off with a bang. It all started with excited attendees cramming into the Las Vegas Convention Center to see the 1,400+ exhibits meticulously erected to showcase their products and services.

Many Krytonites went down Monday morning to begin the setup of our one-of-a-kind booth, equipped with product demonstrations, video and showcasing our line of Krystol technology. Added to the booth for this year is a display of our two new products.

Krystol Repair Grout will form a simplified version of our Crack Repair System to fix cracks in concrete. Working in conjunction with Krystol Plug will eliminate application errors and make the processes for fixing leaks far more efficient. Krytonite Swelling Waterstop is used for new construction specially designed for sealing construction joints in concrete. Krytonite is a flexible hydrophilic swelling waterstop that is fully compatible with Kryton’s Krystol Internal Membrane (KIM) Admixture System and suitable for use with regular ground water as well as salt and sulfate contaminated water.

Vice-President of Product Development, Kevin Yuers will present both of these products at a media conference on Wednesday at 3 p.m. in Press Conference room N251.

Day 1 also featured the first day of Kryton’s Happy Hour, which will continue through tomorrow and Thursday from 2-3pm. It was a record breaking weather day in Vegas, with the heat staggering the hydration of many; thankfully, Kryton has you covered.

Those who showed up were also treated to a magic show with Greg Deveraux and will be performing tomorrow and Thursday as well. Mr. Devereaux wowed all the happy hour attendees with nifty tricks and illusions with a pack of Kryton playing cards – which each happy hour participant received as a takeaway.

Mr. Devereaux and his lovely assistant will be at happy hour again tomorrow. Tomorrow you can come for the magic show and then shuffle off to see Kevin Yuers’ media conference. Come for the show, leave with information on two exciting new products for the concrete industry.
