Kryton prides itself on partnering with the best distributors possible. In finding the best distributors, we are looking at the people behind the company and what they believe in and how they act as citizens within the community they MLK Award 3work.

Last year, Kryton was lucky enough to sign an agreement with Price Builders and Developers Inc., LLC (PB&D). To that point, PB&D has served the state of Ohio for 15-years and, with owner David Price at the helm, has grown the company and brand into a multi-million dollar a year company headquartered in Cleveland.

The successes of Price and PB&D are unmistakable, evidenced by continuous growth in their market and the ability to stay out ahead of competition. Since their inception they have prided themselves on their dedication to providing quality products and services for their environment friendly portfolio, showcasing green design build and creating jobs in a diverse market place while promoting equality. However, successfully providing contracting and waterproofing solutions for the state of Ohio is just a small part of what Price means to the buckeye state.

With a successful business and over 30-years of executive-level experience Price is also for volunteer at many charities, including the Human Society of Greater Akron, March of Dimes and the Eddie Johnson Memorial Foundation, just to name but a few. David also was a keynote speaker for the 2006 Construction Developers Seminar presented by The Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization. He also gives back to the future community by providing a scholarship to Slippery Rock football players, as well as support for minority college students.

MLK Award 2On January 15th, in Columbus, Ohio, Price was recognized with the Governor’s Humanitarian Award at a Martin Luther King Jr. celebration. The award exists to honor the quiet heroes who help others without the expectation of compensation or praise. Price is this quiet hero, giving of himself for those in need in his community.

This just scratches the surface of what David means to his community and the level of support and leadership he has given without asking for anything in return.

A fantastic article on Price’s accomplishments can be read in Summit Magazine here at http://goo.gl/uOPX6B

Congrats David! Well Deserved!
